Rear Blower Motor Not Working / Resistor Burnt
I have a 2008 Town & Country Touring. The rear heat/ac stopped working about half a year ago. I finally got around to taking the rear trim apart to see if I could simply replace the resistor or motor but I'm not sure what to make of the situation so I hoping for some guidance from someone more experienced. Here is what I have done so far:
1. Checked the fuse - Fuse OK
2. Tested the relay - Relay OK
3. Removed the blower resistor - there are signs of burning on the resistor pins and on the harness.
4. Removed the blower motor - I connected power to the blower motor and it the motor worked at full speed but the wiring I used to test it began to burn up. Is this normal? Could the blower motor be defective and drawing to much power, thus burning the resistor and wiring harness?
Thanks for any help with this.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try replacing the resistor, connector, and motor if necessary when I get a chance. Hopefully that solves the problem.
