Default Replacement spare tire and jack

We have a friend that recently bought a nice used 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan but it only came with a pressure pump/sealant kit and NO spare tire and jack equipment. How or where should they go to find a tire and wheel even the temporary size and jack to carry when away from home ? Their van is in Houston Texas if anyone can help somehow. Thank You. B2

Has anyone else found a good place to get a full-size spare for a decent price?

When I bought my car a few years ago, it came with just the sealant kit too, and I was not a fan of being without a spare. I ended up finding a spare tire and jack setup at a local auto parts store, but also checked online marketplaces like Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace.

For a more permanent solution, I looked into a full-size spare from a junkyard, but it really depends on what kind of tire they want to carry.

I also started carrying a small, compact scissor jack that I found on www.astrolift.co.nz—it’s a bit more durable than the basic ones and doesn’t take up much space. It's been a lifesaver, especially when I'm far from home and don’t want to rely on the sealant kit.

Does your friend's car have the spare wheel cage underneath the vehicle between the front seats. If so they will aso need the handle to lower the cage. Without this they will have to carry the spare wheel in the back of the vehicle. Not ideal.
