UConnect module and CD player problems...

OK. Sounds like a common problem. My UConnect feature quit at the same time as my 6 changer CD player. The mirror dimmer still works (I think) and the radio works, but not the CD player or UConnect features.

Anyone figure out anything? The dealer wants $919 for a UC module(!) and $500+ for a new CD player.

HELP!

U Connect & radio, loss of sound...

I can't answer your question about rebooting, but I can tell you I have discovered this is a very common problem. The dealer wants to replace the U Connect module for $913.00 and the CD player for $525.00. I had another audio/radio repair place look at it and they rebooted both. There was nothing wrong with the CD player, but the U Connect module has issues. It quit again. The new modules are not readily available for the U Connect. Our independent repair thing thinks they are trying to fix the bug in the UC module. He has offered to bypass the UC module so we can listen to CDs. My video still plays through the headphones, but not the speakers.

What a mess.
