2006 Town & Country minivan. While driving and all doors are locked, the passenger sliding door comes open. Alarm & lights go on. Door closes on its own.

 

not to say that does or does not happen but the systme is not suptoes to work while the van is not in park. Auto doors or manual doors?

 

They are auto sliders. Happened twice so far on extremely bumpy roads. Once at 50 mph and the other at 65mph. Hubby witnessed the 2nd opening. I thought I was going crazy the 2st time it happened.

 

Hello, have you contacted Chrysler about this? It sounds very dangerous. I am going thru a deal with door locks. Good luck!

 

Yes and after five hours in the shop they said they cannot duplicate the problem. What makes it worse is I have a disabled child in the van. What is really bad.......it happens at high speeds and they all the doors are in the locked positon. I am desperate for a fix.

 

hey peach there is a tsb on sliding door adjustment and checking the PSDM which is where the door gets it signal from.heres the number #23-020-07 came out sept 27 2007.have you dealer run that repair.it is something a good dealer ship should be worried about.i wouldnt release the van until i found the problem.but every dealer is diffent.let me know moe
