personally owning a Chrysler and working on them for be 12 years I would use only champion.
If u are wanting to go cheaper do a price compare a set of champion plats would run 24 bucks if that bosh 18 are u willing to make it possibly run bad for 6 bucks?

Chrysler Tech,

Thanks. The reason I was looking for a plug cheaper is the Chrysler parts department priced the RE14PLP5 at $8.50 each and that this is the only plug I should use I know from being a member on this forum you always give straight answers,. If I have to pay this price so my van will run ok I will just thought it was odd only I name plug was recommended.

Just to build on what CHRYSLER TECH said,

The Champions used by the factory are "double platinums"

These have the platinum contacts on BOTH sides of the spark area...important because Chrysler used the Waste Spark system and those puppies are firing TWICE as often as they need to....

Yes, you can cross-ref the number at any autoparts store and get the exact same plug for le$$.

+++++++++

Myself, I like Iridium plugs...I installed NGKs in my 3.8L about a year ago with great results.
