The Output Speed Sensor on the 4 Speed Transaxle is on the front of the transmission just to the right of the gearshift stalk on the transmission as you stand in front of the radiator. If the only symptom is the speedometer not working, it is probably not the sensor. If it was the sensor, I think the transmission would be in limp-in mode and set a trouble code.
Got some ace techs that check in here with maybe more info.

yeah if u had an issue with the speed senso it would turn on the check engine light and have a gear ratio error in the tranny computer. Whats going on with the mini van
