Before we purchased our 2007 T&C we had it inspected by a trusted mechanic. He found that we needed to get the Steering Gear fixed. Before we agreed to purchase the vehicle the dealership agreed to do the repairs needed. I have searched several websites for car parts and cannot find a steering gear anywhere. Does anyone know what the steering gear is? I feel I trust the dealership we are dealing with but I would like to walk in with a little knowledge of what is being repaired.

 

Just a Generic name for "RACK AND PINION " STEERING UNIT.
