Hi guys, I need to replace the passenger side strut assembly, what year and variant is it compatible with. I have a 2001 2.5 CRD and have found strut assembly's from a 2006 2.5 CRD and a 2002 3 litre auto. They look the same however cannot find any serial numbers. Help much appreciated.

 

2001 thru 2007 used the same strut but had varying spring rates so you'll have to use your original spring!

 

Must use your original spring.

 

i would go for the 2006 2.5 crd as it should have the right spring on it
