Default swap 3.3l 2002 motor into a 2005 Grand Caravan

I am wanting to swap a 2002 3.3l engine over into a 2005 Grand Caravan.
Can anyone tell me if it will be a straight "slot in" fit or will it just not fit?
Thanks

It will fit, but wire harness and computer needs are different. What motor are your taking out?

it's a 3.3l engine that's coming out of the 2005 and I plan to swap it for a 3.3l out of a 2002 model that I have. The 2005 engine need a complete rebuild and I see the swap as a cheaper alternative. the 11th digit of the 2002 is U and the 11th on the 2005 is a Y

Basic motors are the same, may need to swap some sensors due to year differences. But EASILY done once motors are out to compare.
