Default T&C Engine problems

Hello, I have recently experienced a problem with my 2013 T&C.I bought it used with a trailer hitch, lately the electrics stopped working. I found there is a device in the back where the left lights are. I found that the positive wire from the battery to this device was probably damaged somewhere along the way, so there was no incoming power. I just made a short cut from the light to the trailer cable, bypassing that device. I think that device is something that prevents power from the trailer to interfere with the vehicles system. It looks like an aftermarket device. I hope it makes sense what I am trying to explain here. So my next ride was with a trailer in a rainy day, and the vehicle started to act up. It might be a coincidence, or there is some interference from the trailer hitch electricals. It acted up as follows: the automatic transmission does shift sooner then usual into the second highest gear, but does not shift into the highest gear at any given speed. If you pull down the gas pedal, it does not shift down as well. Trying to shift up manually did not help. Once the motor is shut off and on again, it works normal again till next time. So it acts up just every second time with the shifting. Sometimes the anti-slip icon comes on on the dash board. I also noticed the engine light on, not sure when it did come on. I red the code, and it shows P06DD. I can not delete the code, it stays in the system. I disconnected the trailer wiring from the back where i previously connected it, but the problem still persists. Could it be that the PCM is shot because i did that thing with the trailer hitch wiring? I never before experienced problems with shifting.

I did not know there are two different computers, one for the engine and one for the transmission. I just connected a cheap code reader from Canadian Tire, i guess i would need a professional code reader for that?
