I had a noise coming from the rear of my 1999 T&C van. I took it to the tire shop and they told me that it was a bad right rear bearing. How can I confirm that this is the problem. They told me that the labor would be $60 and that the part is $225. That seems high for the part.

My mian question is if I purchase the part on my own, what is involved in changing it myself. I have done many small repairs, however I don't have any air driven tools. Is this a do it yourself kind of repair? My van is 2 wheel drive.
