Question T&C - Sensors in corner of Rear bumper - glued?

Hi Folks. Was helping a friend who had a minor accident in a 2012 T&C minivan. We were able to recover the rear bumper and get out the blemishes. One thing noticed is there is a sensor in each corner glued a little more than half way up. There is a bracket (glued), then a sensor that sits inside it that is about half the size of a pack of cigarettes. We re-glued the driver side back up there as it was just dangling (not actually a result of the accident), but have no idea what it is. I told her I would try to google it and see if there was any impact to just sticking it back up there, but can't seem to find anything off google, etc. Does anyone have a glue what this thing does? I assumed side air bag maybe?

The Blind spot sensors are mounted in a frame. This Frame is glued.
