Voyager -96 starts sometimes

The fulepump only starts sometimes, and if it starts it stops runing after a few minutes. The pump itself seems to be ok!

ok so whats the question?

ansod 05-23-2010 04:49 AM

The question

Well, something most be wrong and I need to know what. I can't use the car right now. So the question is: What can be wrong and what can I do?

CHRYSLER TECH 05-23-2010 08:56 AM

if U have no clue about what U are doing or have no tools to figure this out I would let a professional take care of it. This forum is for people that can at least tinker with things and have a mechanical mind set.

ASD-system ok.
Fuelpump relay ok.
Wiring ok.
Fuelpump is removed for cleaning and control. I don't got the vcalues for this specifik pump but thats not a big problem. But the question remains. Have I missed anything. I'm not that good att english so it's rather difficult to explain things sometimes.

CHRYSLER TECH 05-23-2010 09:22 PM

if the 2 relays and the wires are ok ten that leads to just the fuel pump itself is bad.
Can u jump the fuel pump relay and get power to the pump?

ansod 05-24-2010 12:07 AM

Yes, i've done that. The pump goes slover and slover and then it stops. Sounds like it works heavier and heavier. I'll see if I can clean the inside. If that doesn't have any effect I suppose that I nedd a new pump/pumpmotor. Do you know the electric impedans of the pumpmotor?
Thanyou for your patience - it might be esyer if you learn swedish! :D

ansod 05-24-2010 10:45 AM

I'll do that tomorrow. Today I took out the pum,p from the pump modul and I gess that the coil (?) is broken. I'll get back after replacing tomorrow.
