Default water pump

Hey all,

I have a 2000 Chrysler Voyager 4cyl, 2.4- I need to replace the water pump and timing belt. How difficult is it to do myself? I'm not an expert, but I am pretty handy with some repairs.

Thanks!

Default RE: water pump

leave it to the professionals.

along with the pump and the belt, you need to change the belt tensioner and a pulley. both V belts have to be taken down for access, covers down, engine has to be properly positioned, belt has to be properly tensed......

trust me, don't go there.
