What have you changed on you van?

I'm just interested to know what people have changed on there Van since owning it?... Not just the usual tyres, wiper blades! But other stuff like cam belts ect...

I'll start off:D

1. AUX belt tensioner
2. AUX belt idler roller
3. PAS belt (Continental brand)
4. Front Shocks and springs ( KYB, Kilen) top mounts and bearings (Both sides)
5. Injector washer (No 1 cylinder)
6 . MTEC drilled (Black addition) discs all round with Mintex break pads
7. PAS fluid change
8. 41TE auto box fluid change
9. Break fluid change (Motul 660 factory line juice)
10.UFI fuel filter change
11. Coolant flush and change with G05
12. Near side electric track door loom change
13. New Alternator
14. 4x1 Goodyear UltraGrip 8 Winter tyres
15. Serpentine belt (Continental brand )

That's as much as I can remember atm :)

Clutch
Distribution belt + tensioners
Waterpump
Serpentine belt + tensioners and rolls and such
Brake rotors F+R
Brake pads F+R
Handbrake pads
Stabilisation rods front
HeadLight adjuster motors

And due to a small crash:
Hood + headlight Right
I still need to replace the AC condenser since its leaking after the crash.

And of course the usual oil changes and tyre changes

Engine oil, air, and fuel filters every year.

One off[s], new 77/780 battery - cabin filter change at year 7 - complete brake fluid change at year 7 - complete anit-freeze fluid change at year 7 - x2 drop links - x2 sway bar bushes - all interior [including the 2 map lights] bright white LED lights - x1 ABS sensor - x1 new battery - x4 new boots - x1 small parts bag - re-solder a patch lead in NSF slider - re-solder a rubbed bare red wire from gearbox brain to IPM.

Still to do blank the RGR per royal100805's excellent research.

Uses / loses no engine oil / Uses / loses no cooling fluid / Uses / loses maybe a maximum of 1lb sq inch air pressure every 6 months / Uses / 33.9MPG with ± .9 twixt winter summer / high vehicle needs washer bottle top-up only twice [unless you drive up someone's arras] a year. Still only a genuine 66k UK miles.

Yes I'm getting a little worried now about my engine oil and coolant levels as there not going down. Might be little men under the bonnet topping them up when I'm not looking. And yes its about 33 odds MPG.

- I would only worry if they were going down
- every next Easter they are the same as last Easter
- that'll do me .................. !

Very good milage for a petrol engine car. I did 230k in my VW Polo TDi 1.4 b4 I got rid. So what kinda milages has everyone got on there Van? Mine has just turned to 94k...

Well things I've changed fall into 2 categories: necessary and out of choice

necessary items:
Front anti-roll bar bushes. (However, made the decision to switch out everything I could on the front end for urethane bushing)

Belt tensioner
Front droplinks, tie rod and ends.
Intake valley and plenum gaskets. (3.3 V6)
Front rotors and pads

Stuff I just wanted to change:

Exterior:
Mufflers replaced with glass-packs and larger bore piping
Wheels switched to 18 inch Chrysler 300's
Cold air intake
Headlights replaced with Projector HID units
Resprayed satin black
Front/rear parking assist with rear camera
Interior:
Kenwood DVD/head unit.
kenwood 400 watt amplified bass-box
all speakers replaced with Sony's
Twin Kef rear bass units (Removable)
Twin 300w Kicker amps (Removable)
Sony wide screen 1080 HD 22 inch drop down screen
Chromecast and freesat
WiFi enabled via EE mobile

That's it for now. I do have a few ideas for next year but it depend on whether or not I'm keeping the van. I really want a truck but not sure if the finances will stretch that far in the coming year.
