Default What oil Weight for 3.8 Engine

I have a 02 Chrysler T/C 3.8 engine and live in Daytona Beach, Florida where temp. are hot 90 to 95 the manual is ok with 5X30 or 10X30 and I have been using 5X30 Dino Castrol oil my concern is the oil too thin when I first start it up there is a noise in the engine for a few seconds it is gone should I go back to 10X30 weight oil?
