Default What is up with the transmission?

Hi fellow CV owners. I run into a problem..... I have a Chrysler Grand Voyager 2006, wich transmission was junk....... i got a new tranmission and exchanged it..... now...... it does not crank..... and all the P/R/N/D/3/2/1 lights on the instrrument panel are "marked", that is a small sqare around them.... i remember, from the old transmission, the was only one "squere" at the time..... So I thought, aahhh, the whatshallonecall it has gone bad ( we tried to get the old transmission to work, got it into "N"), but the fault was not there...... now I'm dumbfoud, what do i do next.....?? I have checked the brakelights (working), and everything else in the car seems to bee working..... I also pulled the codes from it, but says everything is OK......

Any and all help will be very much appriciated....

Cokis

pulled codes from the transmission or from the engine computer? will need a better scanner to get into the transmission computer and see what's going on.

Sorry. i was, again, writing the answer in a hurry..... Did both ( at least that's what my scanner told me) the PCM and the TCM (?)..... again, no faut codes...... i even did the instrument-panel self-check, but that also came though without fault codes....

I realy appriciate Your having patiens with me, i've got 4 other Voyagers (GV 2002 - 2009) i'm working on at the same time......

Hello again...... found i little time, so i once again played with the Voyager... and behold, it, as i connected the battery, gave me a P0028 and wrote "Check Shifter Signal"....... as far as i undreastand the P0028 code has got something to do with the the intake valve control solenoid circut....? ... but can this cause the problem i'm having..... and in that case, why did it wright CHECK SHIFTER SIGNAL.... another thing i noticed, when i connected the battery, it only has one "square" checked (and the gearshift moves normaly), but as soon as i (ad all times after that, untill i unconnect-connect the battery) all the "squares" on the instrument clustrer are lighten up again..... DARN.....

Regards, Cokis

ok so with you disconnecting the battery you basically erase any and all codes in all computers. You will need to use your scanner and go into the TCM and see what signals are working whats missing whats not correct as far as what any of the sensors in the used transmission you have now installed. Will it spin over and not fire up or not spin over ?
