I recently purchased a Grand Voyager. When I brought it I was told it is a 2003 model as is indicated on the compliance plate. however when you decode the VIN it shows it as being a 2004 model. Manufacture date is 12/2003. I need to replace the Oxygen sensor but from what I have seen the part is different between the 2 models so I need to know if my car is a 40 or 03 model. Anyone help me out here?

 

It would be safe to assume it is a 2004 if your VIN specifies it as such.

 

It is a 04, many vehicles are made in the year prior, especially in the month of December it is in most cases a model for next years.
