my dad's transmission is on its way out. he has a 1999 town and country. i can get a 97' caravan real cheap with a knock in the motor but tranny is good. are they interchangeable? if not what are the differnaces? thanks for any info.

 

the diference would be the trany computer and how it is setup. With out knowing the software for it it may not run or work correctly. if u want to take a chance go ahead.

 

so could i just take the computer from the donor vehicle?

 

u can try if it messes up because of that u might do more harm then good.
