Default Where is my pollen filter hiding?

Hi All, I am the new proud owner of a 2001 Grand voyager ltd 2.5. I have had the car for three days now and had a couple of ****les, one being the fuel gauge shows a quarter full when its empty! This caused a few problems and I was pulling my hair out trying to get the thing to work. A can of fuel fixed it but I now have the sender or gauge to renew. Have you had a similar fault? What is the most common?... sender or gauge? The gauge does move to full when you put diesel in so its not stuck. Any suggestions please?

I thought I will give it a service tomorrow but as yet have not received my manual on CD from Ebay yet. Can someone please tell me were the pollen filter is located and also the fuel filter? I have found a water drain type filter next to the fuel tank but was unsure if the filter element goes in there. I have seen people mention the filter is on the top of the tank. Is this just for petrol cars? (mines the 2.5 diesel).

Many thanks
Mark

The pollen filter is in the ductwork on the passenger side, just below the glove box, on models with the steering wheel on the left of the vehicle.
