For vehicles equipped with fold-in-floor seating, the
spare tire is stowed inside a protective cover located
under the center of the vehicle by means of a cable winch
mechanism. The
spare tire drivenut is located on the
floor, under a plastic cap between the front seats.
The tool pouch contains three pieces and can be assembled
into a Spare Tire Hook to remove the compact
spare tire/cover assembly from under the vehicle or a
Winch
THandle to raise/lower the compact spare

tire/cover assembly.

Its probably underneath the vehicle between the front seats. Its a spacesaver wheel. You lower it down from inside the car. In the boot left hand side there should be the tool to lower it. Its like a T bar with an extension.
Remove the small rubber mat in the console between the front seats and thats where the nut is that lowers the wheel.

I think there was a recall on the mechansim that lowers the wheel, you might want to check with a dealer to see if it has been done.

Thank you for your help, I hope I don't ever have to use it, as being in a wheelchair I have no way of getting it from under the car after I have dropped it down.
Thanks Jason

you should be ok, ive seen a video of a person in a wheelchair using it with no problems, just have to bend over a little. Your tool for dropping the tire also has a hook type deal to reach the tire to pull it out.
