Default 41TE: adapt Transmission range sensor harness to pre-1996 PRNDL\Neutral safety switch

Hi! if this question have not been answered here earlier, then I will appreciate your help!) I'm sure this will be pretty simple for most of you to answer!
I have (almost..) done a transmission swap in a 1996 Stratus and was confused to find out in the very end of this process, that transmission range sensor harness doesn't fit two connectors on the installed transmission. I bought a pre-1996 harness (p no. 4638996), but so far got no success in adapting it instead of TRS harness.
If you again look into the subject of this thread, is it in principle possible to perform such a change?
I assume all I should do here is to connect different wires correctly, but I'm struggling to understand which..
Thank you!

get a manual with a wire diagram for both harnesses and see if they even match wire for wire and if so then go fine a connector that will work for u cut and splice.
