Default Oops!

So I finally got the rear valve cover off and gasket replaced and so forth but in my haste to get it finished I torqued the bolts right to the 105 inch pounds and did not step them at the 40 and 80.
So on the valve cover 2 of the bolts have punched through the metal slightly leaving a crescent shaped gap about half a centimeter wide around the holes of the cover. Is the cover salvageable or should I just replace the whole thing? Will the gasket be toast as well?
