spark plugs will not spark
hello,
i have a chrysler cirrus 99 v6
car died after start up. at first glance had oil in cylinder 6. replaced valve cover gasket. took off the upper air intake manifold to replace back valve cover gasket. had oil in back, cylinders 1,3,5. replaced all spark plugs, and spark plug wires. put everything back together and was running awesome for 10 minutes then died again. replaced the rotor and cap on the distributer. no spark on the spark plugs. i can smell the gas comming through and it sounds like the fuel pump is going okay, as well as the fuel injectors are running as well. relays are good. also the multimeter read 12v at the distributorNo codes. I'm not sure where to go from here.

what can i do to test to see if it is actually the distributor. also if it happens to be the distributor, what do i need to do as far as the removal and installation goes. such as keeping timing and everything
thanks so far
