A new trend? I can't tell whether it looks good or not by the angle.

I've noticed manufacturers have been using black trim lately instead of trim that's the color of the vehicle, possibly to blend in with tinted windows so it looks more open. I like the stainless steel trim better on the 300 though. It gives it an expensive car look, plus it's unique.
