Default 2015 T+C slips into neutral while driving and when stopped will not go back into driv

I bought the car iend of 2018 or beginning of 2019, from a Caddy dealer, had just over 18,000 miles now has 26,500, so obviously don't drive it much. It is a second car.when first got it drove from FL to MA, it did slipping a couple of times when in cruise, but stopped using cruise at all and never did it again until other day when coming to light on 41 in Ft Myers, I was stuck in L turn lane , in middle of rush hour traffic and I could get it into P,R and neutral, but if I tried to get into D it slipped right back in to neutral. I finally shut engine off and waited about 15 minutes, tried again and it started, I took it right to repair shop and left it there, called next morning, told them problem, but it is high season so don't know when they will look at it. I read up on it and see that this very thing has happened with the 300, but didn't see anything about it happening with T + C. I will be honest and say I don't know if trans fluid has been checked and wether or not that would cause this particular problem. Any advice?

First piece of advice is to post your question in the T&C section of the forum. You have posted in the "Forum Issues" section where people who have trouble with the forum itself post their problems. If you have problems with your car you post those questions in the appropriate car section. That's where your fellow T&C owners hang out and might have an answer for you.

Second piece of advice is to check your fluid level. That's the most likely source of the problem.
