I have a 04 pacifica that was man. on 08/03 and I am having trouble when trying to start it up. Sometimes the starter will start right up and others it will not start or turn over at all. In the morning I will get up and it will start right up and I will go to work and will start right up when I go to lunch but when I leave to go home it will not start unless I keep turning the key over to start over and over again cause the starter is not cranking the engine. I dont want to jump to say it is a starter when it really isn't struggling to start the car. I would know it was the starter if it would stop working but it keeps working when it wants to. I am not sure if it is a relay or something so I am turning to you guys and hope one of you have had this problem before and can give me a exact part. I would def. appreciate it. do u hear a clunk each time u try and start it if yes new starter time.

 

no click, nothin. Doesn't even make a noise. Weird!

 

Got in the car this morning and it started. I turned it off and tried it again. started. I tried it like 5 times and it started everytime. Not sure what to think. A bad starter would not start that many times.

 

yeah possible starter the connectors on the starter like to come loose as well check that.

 

The wire that goes to the starter to get it to start was lose and was corroded. Moved it around and knocked the crap off of it and it started ever since. Thought I would update everyone.
