I have an 04 Sebring with a 3.0. First thought it was the fuel pump but you smell the gas, checked relays and fuses which are fine. Someone today tells me its the crank shaft sensor. Car wants to start and everything but won't. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

 

The usual problem with that engine is the distributor. People report problems with trying to repair it using an aftermarket unit as well.
