So i have this 1990 lebaron that was given to me. and it needs a new transmission/engine. i found out that that tranny is an a604 and the engine is 6g72. all i can find are used parts with about 30k miles on them. would any newer engines or transmissions bolt onto this car with minimal problems?

30k doesn't sound bad.

You have a 3.0 mitusubishi engine. and the 604/41te transmission. You can use any 3.0 mitsubishi engine in this car but most likely you'll need to change some parts such as sensors or wire harness if you use a newer engine. The transmission can be from any 1989-1995 vehicle with the 3.0 and overdrive trans.

I'm trying to find a mitsubishi 3.0 from a Stealth with DOHC heads for a minivan I'm building.

I only need the heads and intake and cam belt stuff. not a whole car and I'll bet your like 1000 miles away.
