Hello. I have a 1998 Grand Caravan 3.3L. 3 weeks ago the door locks started popping up and down spontaneously. The odometer reading and the top center console digital readout started to flicker about every other mile. I talked to a friend that owns a shop and he said its probably the BCM. Ordered one from AZ, had it flashed, etc.. Installed it.. Just a few min running in my driveway, it was doing the same thing again.

What else could it be?

 

Sounds like it could be a wiring fault. After 12 years, those things can develop. Might just be some minor corrosion in a plug or joint somewhere. That could be as simple as unplugging and re-pluggging to break the corrosion.
Guys that own shops like to consider the high dollar fix first. If you're the one shelling out the dough, think about looking at the cheap fixes first.
