Question 2000 Chrysler Sebring JXi radio issue

Hi everyone! Got a 2000 Sebring JXi here with 145k miles.
Hoping this can be solved and I've searched all over for it but most things I've searched only talk about a different issues that are unrelated.
So this is the problem:
Radio works just fine except for the display doesn't show anything, but the weird part is after a while off driving it'll show up finally.
I'm not sure if it's the lights being on or it needing to warm up but once it's on it'll work til the car sits for a while and cools off.

Anyone got any ideas? I'm mechanically inclined and don't mind having to take stuff apart.

Suggestion, first place I would look is the plug connections to the back of the radio. 19 yrs. old now, and could even be inside the radio electronics wearing out.

Right. I also found something after finding the right search string talking about a resistor that likes to resolder itself somewhere inside. Supposedly it's green. And it's responsible for powering the display.
Figured I'd share what I found so if there was anybody else that was having a similar problem they would know what to do because I was struggling to find it through Google.

Thank you for your input by the way.
