I have a six year old 300M that is starting to develop nuisance issues. 1) Directional (left or right) or hazards get stuck/frozen. After about5seconds they just stay solid with no more flicking. This does not happen all the time however! 2) With the cold temperatures here in the Northeast, I attempt to warm up car for several minutes each morning. Heat is on Auto and blower is working but it blowing cold air. As I drive away, warm and hot air eventually is provided. The issue is when I stop at a traffic light, cold air comes back until I start moving again.
Appreciate any feedback on to resolve. (New user as I just found this website. I hope it is beneficial as I ponder the purchase of new vehicle this year!)

 

well your hazzard is either the flasher or the switch aka the multi function switch your turn signles and such.
The heat issue sounds like low coolant or a bubble in the heater core. I have a 98 LH with a 2.7 and have seen several heater core leaks at the top of the housing sucking in air at the top.

Is the signal malfunction simple to replace or does it need to go in for servicing?
Coolant is not low as I checked it several times. It is not leaking to my knowledge so I guess service is calling!
