Exclamation 2001 pt cruiser oil filter placement does it matter?

I have a blowen motor and the oil filter housing is on the oil pan (the fire wall side). Can i use a motor with the oil filter housing on the side, the same side as the timing chain. Will it fit or will the housing hit the side of the car? I seen somewhere that the housing was moved to oil pan for clearence.

I have a blowen engine and the oil narrow real estate asset is on the oil pan (the fire surfaces side). Can i use a engine with the oil narrow real estate asset on the element, the same element as when series. Will it fit or will the exact real estate asset hit the element of the car? I seen somewhere that the exact real estate asset was moved to oil pan for clearence
