I have A 2001 T&C and have been having issues with starting it it will run for a week or two then all of a sudden it won't start the engine turns over so it's not a dead battery. sometime it takes 15 min others an hour or two of trying to start it then it will fire up. like I said it might not start two or three times then all of a sudden be fine for a few days. took to a local chry. dealer. they first said the code showed the ignition coils so they changed them two weeks later they againput in ignition coils saying they put bad ones in a month after that now my 4th visit they say the code shows ig.coils but they checked them and they are fine the wires also, they say it's the computer that runs the coils and want a lot of money to fix it any other ideas.

 

Is there any one out there who can help me with this problem?[&:]

 

sounds like the driver for the coils id starting to fail.thats in the pcm.and that might be covered under your drive train warranty.

 

There's also a Federal emissions warranty 8yrs/80,000 miles. If it still applies, the PCM is considered an emissions part and covered by the warranty

 

ok so here's the thing I have noticed that the last two times it started to act up was right after I filled the gas tank. after it fails a few times and I have used some gas it works fine until I fill up again any bright ideas?
