Default 2009 Chrysler town & country brakes

Can someone help me with a brake problem? My van seams like it is eating brake pads a set in just 5 months with only about 10,000 miles. Does anyone else have a similar problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks David

You might want to post this up in the T&C forum where it'll get more visibility from T&C owners.

If your brake pads aren't lasting, it could be rough rotors. It could also be from left-foot braking and riding the pedal. It could be calipers that are dragging. Brake hoses are another possibility. They sometimes develop an internal obstruction that acts like a one-way valve. It could just be cheap pads that don't last.

If it's at all the wheels, then it's more likely to be either cheap pads or bad driving habits.

Are your pads wearing unevenly? If so...your slide pins could be dry and need to be greased. Or maybe it could be the pistons sticking. Is it the front or rear pads? If i remember right....the rear has twisting pistons.
