300m air conditioning stopped working
Your Compressor clutch or the compressor it self is to high of resistance u need a new compressor ,looking around 500 bucks for a new one they may offer remans but i dont know haft to call the dealer for that or if u care to take a wagger u can order aftermarket ones and see if they work.
Can I change the clutch without taking the compressor out? Is the cutch pressed on the compressor, or if I take the bolt out of the end od the shaft does the clutch come right off? Is it that easy? I checked the voltage with the clutch p/j unplugged and it tries to energize the clutch. Thanks again
thats a gamble it could be the clutch shorting out or like i said the compressor itself the inside locking up. So do as u wish but me personaly i would replace the whole thing.
Well I took the car to a local ac shop. They connected the compressor to their tester and they said it started smoking. They replaced the clutch and compressor. Now the compressor comes on for a minutes then blows the rad fan fuse in the PDC. The drivers side fan seems to turn slower than the other fan. I disconnected the drivers side fan and it didn't blow the fuse, but the compressor would cycle on and off.Do you think the fan could be causing this to happen? If so how do change that fan?? There is like no room. I think I recieved second degree burns trying to unplug the fan. Thanks
u take the fan assembly out and replace the motors I would replace both if u plan on keeping the car for awhile murphys law u would need to replace the other one soon hehe.
