Hi there Chrysler lovers! I have a situation that I haven't seen addressed in this forum. (maybe I missed it, but
I haven't seen it!) I have a 94 Lebaron with a 3.0 that ran great before I parked it for the brutal Wisconsin winter and when I tried to restart it this last week, it fired right up and promptly died..... Repeatedly! So again, I turn the key, let the fuel pump run, start it and it sounds great for about 2 or 3 seconds and dies. I have about 70 lbs of pressure at the fuel rail. I tried a noid tester on one of the injector plugs, and got an impulse (flash) for the duration of about 2-3 seconds. If I introduce fuel into the plenum, it will keep running. I have not tried to see if the injectors are still getting impulse or not. I just assumed that since it won't keep running, it's not. I don't claim to be a mechanic at all, but I like to think I'm NOT an idiot. Could it be a crank position sensor? If ANYBODY out there has a suggestion, I'd gladly hear it.
