Are the ecm and the body computer grounded by screws...also wat can cause the electric choke not to work on car??

 

no such thing as an electronic choke on a fuel injected car.

 

aw ok well i need a lil help i have a 96 chrysler cirrus car starts up idles high and cuts off and does this will not constanly run i have recently put a new ecm in the car car wasnt getting any spark or gas and now that i put the ecm in the car this is all its doing now car was running jus fine till ecm went out im lost.

 

where did u get eh pcm from and is it the same part number as the on u took out?

 

i got the computer from a auto salvage yard part number was bot the same same numbers as the one i took off i had abn interchangable part number computer came off same year car with same size motor 96 cirrus 2.5

 

what were the part numbers for both

 

4606275 and the one i got from the yard is 4606213...somebody told me that i need to get the computer flashed/programmed because car is starting and running for bout 7-8 secs and cutting off...car will let me give it gas wen first start but cuts off in the same time frame.

 

it wont work no u cant just flash a pcm once the software is in there its there for good the pcm u have wont work it for a different setup then u have.

o i c cause the computer i got was supposed to be interchangeable part number from same year and make...also i lost original set of keys does the 96 cirrus have chip in key or remote

 

i took a look on that website in they said no parts matching that
