Default 96 Sebring A/C Problem

The other day, I got into my car and turned on the A/C and it ran for about 5 seconds and then quit suddenly. I haven't noticed anything weird going on with it lately. When I press the A/C button in and turn the selector for the fan to any position (except off of course) I can hear a fan under the hood turn on. However, the blower motor does not do anything. I went to advance auto parts and got a new blower motor and installed that and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joel

Default RE: 96 Sebring A/C Problem

I fixed the problem. Just to let everyone know, I recommend against buying a haynes repair manual because it completely overlooks the fact that there is another fuse box in the passenger compartment of the sebring coupe. I should have looked in the owner's manual first. Anyways, the problem WAS the blower motor and a blown fuse. I just thought I would share this information with anyone that cares.
