AC Electrical connector
Trying to diagnose why the compressor will not come on in our 03 town and country. I have a jumper on the relay, but still no engaging. Not entirely sure I am jumping the right ones, but I am going from one that is powered to one across from it with no power. Tried the other pair also. I would like to check for voltage at the clutch, but for the life of me I cannot disconnect the connector. Of course you can't see anything! I'm stuck here until I can get the compressor to run so I can diagnose the system. Any help?

I don't see a terminal under the middle prong, which is one of those two locations. I stuck the relay back in, and it ran all day, with only one hickup on a bumpy road. It was ice cold when it ran. I am thinking loose connection somewhere now.

Ah ha! I see that now...with better light, and some glasses.
So I jump, but no compressor. But for two day prior to this, and after some monkeying around the wires and reinstalling the relay, it worked and froze me out of the van. Where is the most likely place to look now?
Thanks for your help by the way!

When it wouldn't come on, jumping wasn't helping. Took it in for diagnosis today. Clutch is bad. I couldn't ever get that darn connector off or I could have tested there. They struggled with it for quite a while before they got it. Bummer!
Thanks for the help.

the best way so that you don't loose any voltage is to solder the wires then wrap them individually with insulation tape this is also less bulky than connectors if the breakage is close to the adaptor connect directly to the circuit board. be careful to observe the correct polarity.
