air bag light

Default air bag light

last night I had something break in steering , and the air bag light came on. sounds like a wire flopping around when I turn the wheel any suggestions?

Search for the term "Clock Spring"

Yours is broken...[:@]


Thats the "connection" for the air bag wiring in the steering wheel. Might be warranty if your van is new enough.

are all clock springs under recall I have a 2001 sebring conv

I can't get the dealer in evansville in to give me a price for spring says he needs vin does every chrysler use different parts? every time I need parts they have to have vin to get "correct part"

Referencing the VIN is a common practice. It ensures that you get the correct part despite all the permutations and options in the vehicles.

I took a "rubbing" of the VIN plate on the radiator support (with all the trim and equipment codes) and bring it with me when I visit the dealer parts counter...[8D]

gave dealer vin have part on order, Now check engine light came on, is itrelated to clock spring car seems to run fine
