Ive found an old key to my 04' pt cruiser, and placed it near my other keys. When i was tryin to start engine with it engine stopped after few seconds. I stupidly tried this several times untill engine refused to start at all. And now my car is in lockout mode. engine refuses to start from original key from remote control, seems the starter is locked. Any ideas how i can break this lockout?

 

turn the key one for 1 hour it will reset

 

Thx a lot for ur answer, r there any seens heard reactions from a care after i did this? and what i should do after turn ignition off then try to run engine r i should start engine?

 

if u have the right key and its programed it will work wrong key and try it 3x right back where u started.
