Default Cold air intake

Has anyone every tried installing a cold air intake with their Chrysler? I'm planning on getting AFE Performance filter, but before anything else, I would like to hear any suggestion or experience with the set up.

Thanks in advance.

First look at the intake that's on your car now. Where, exactly does it draw air from. Then look to see exactly where your proposed modification will draw air. You might find that the mod will draw air from right behind the radiator whereas the present set up draws from a cooler spot.

Then take a look at the filter on the old vs the new. A larger filter means both less restriction and better filtration. If the new filter is noticeably smaller, it will be either more restrictive or poorer in filtering dust, or both.
