Default Dodge Caravan 07 - Random engine cut out

Hello,

Wondering if someone could maybe shed some light on an issue I have with my car! Any help would be very much appreciated!!

Todaymy engine decided to cut out 3 times in fairly quick succesion. While stopping atlights the engine just died loosing power streeringand maybe brakes, after each time the car started as normal. When turning the car onthe oil light shows and then turns off [the oil level is fine]. The car had been parked at the a ski resort which was pretty damn cold so im thinkig that may have caused the issues [The engine died about 10 miles from leaving the car park]. Also on the journey the electrics played up.. the wind screen wipers went a bit crazy.

Ive since driven the car a good few miles and the problem seems to have dissappeared but im concerned it does it again which is a bit worrying.

If anyone has any ideas what the problem may bei'd love to hear from you!!

Thanks,
John

Is that a diesel? Diesel fuel gets pretty thick in the cold.
Not quite sure what you mean by the wipers going crazy...
If they were chattering across the glass, that could be cold-related also. New blades should take care of that.

oil light being on is a normal problem any check engine lights? if you are really conserned about it you should be able to take it to your dealer and still be under warranty.
