I looked under and around the PCM there is no secondary air pump. There is nothing located under or around the PCM. Also there is no secondary air line coming from the air intake hose. I was also recently at a U-Pull it and saw several Chrysler 200 lx models while trying to disconnect a wiring harness and I notice that one of them did have the secondary air pump and I was able to note the location of the air pump. This model never had this air pump. Is there any other possible explanation as to why the car is stalling? Is there a difference in the coding for the PCM if the car does not have the secondary air system?
then you have a computer that the software is incorrect and would need to be replaced with the correct software so the pcm is not looking for the air injection pump.
The PCM was replaced with a PCM from another Chrysler 200 LX that did not have the Secondary Air Injection System. The code has gone away, but the engine still stalls. The only code that is now present is P2764 Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Circuit .
