new chrysler tech questions for experienced techs
I recently changed jobs from an independent shop to the local chrysler/dodge dealership and I have a few simple questions for anyone that is or has been a chrysler tech
1) can the lower level training be overlooked from ASE certs? I am ASE certified and find it a bit of a waste if i have to go through all the maintenance and level 1/2 training
2)whats the scoop on the "master tech" things? are they a requirement or can you get anything from them? (other than the training)

NO u still need to go through all the basics its gonna be Chrysler specific training wont be used any other place but in Chrysler dealers. ASE is just a general knowledge of subjects
The Master tech are u talking about the monthly thing where u take the quiz online every month or the MASTER tech certification?

yes the monthly is required its part of the testing system when u log into dealer connect u will see the different requirements for master power train and so on and also need ASEs for them as well.
