Please Help - Cam timing Concorde 3.2

:confused:Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

My name is Bob and I have 2000 Concorde with a 3.2. Decided it was time to change the timing belt and water pump @ 180k miles. Also decided to replace the cam and crank seals at the same time (they were not leaking - this is an example of "don't fix what isn't broke).

When I took the cam drive sprockets off I realized they are not keyed and that the cam timing is adjusted by the loose fit between the cam shaft and sprocket (ooops I screwed up).

Now what, reading on line I realize that a tool is required to lock the cams in place to set the timing. Looks difficult as access to the back side of the cam shafts (in the head in the car) is very tight and I do not have this tool(s).

Is there an alternate method? - or where do I get the cam alignment tool? - what do I have to disassemble to access back of head to install alignment tool? anything else I should fix while its this far apart?

This posting is an example of what happens when a shade tree mechanic takes on current technology with dated experience.

Thanks for your help
