Default P303 code T & C

My 2015 Chrysler Town and Country just over 86000 miles, shows P303 cylinder 3 misfire. The mechanic and dealership shop advised they checked plugs, coils, leak test, compression test, and other tests required by Chrylser star bulletin. The next step is to replace lifters and rollers on that side of the head to see if it fixes the issues. I have an extended warranty through MPP and they need a part that has failed and assurance that doing this will fix the issue. The tech advised that there is not a specific part that has failed right now and the next step is to try and fix it. The warranty company is refusing to pay as it may not fix the issue and a part has not failed. I'm having an adjuster from them do to the shop to see the vehicle, speak to the techs to see what tests they have done, and review the star bulletin.

Can anyone advise if doing this step completely fixies the issue and is there additional information I can get to give to the warranty company to approve the fix. It seems that my option would be to have them put it back together and drive it until a part fails to take it into a shop to then see if they will cover it. They mentioned taking to another shop to get a second opinion, which could be another $500 for diagnosing it, and still get the same conclusion which could not be covered.

Any help would be greatly appreciated to help me get it covered.

What you do is go to a competent shop that has someone that knows how to diagnose drivability issues. No one online can tell you what's causing your misfire with out first having a look for them self. As for them not being able to tell a specific failure that's where they need to go back to school. The shop should be handling the warranty stuff not you.
