Default Sebring no spark/ bad head?

I just bought a 2000 sebring. The previous owner had told me it had a blown head gasket. My friend looked at it said it passed a leak down and compression test. I have two questions one if it passed these test can the head gasket still be bad and two during this process the car lost spark. Initially only the plug wouldn't spark but the dis would now no spark out of the brand new wires. Any ideas what could of possibly happen? Input appreciated and thank you

I am saying there was some oil. Which means I have bad rings or valve seals, but both sides of the block had oil in some cylinders which would explain the high compression. Also by chance you don't know the resistance on the sensors or volts out of the wires required to them by any chance do you? I can not find it in my haynes manual anywhere

Had some more test done today and we are now more confused than ever. The injectors had a pulse with still no spark which should rule out the asd relay correct? I checked the resistance of the coil and it tested in spec replaced the cap and rotor with no results. Any other ideas before this thing goes to the local shop? I just really have no idea how after pulling the plugs and leak down testing I could lose all spark...

Seems like 99 times out of a hundred, with that engine and no spark, it's the distributor.
