Default Trouble w/dirty headlights?

hope this can be solved without replacing the headlight unit. so on the 03 concorde i drive one headlight is clean and transparent however the other one looks like sh*t. hazy , and looks dirty. i tried all the over the counter restore lens cleaners , also a little light sanding 2000 grit. it helped maybe about 10%?i went ahead and pulled the whole light assembly to go for a better chance at cleaning it. and damn wouldn't you know , its one sealed unit. so is there a secret to taking this bad boy apart or just cleaning it? im a bit **** about crap like this. i got one headlight that looks brand new and the other that looks like its been sitting in a field for 15 years , w/a bunch of fords and snakes. anyways any help on this matter would be appreciated. or if i must , where would i get the best deal on buying a new one? local junk yard wants $200 for one. i passed. im hoping there are some secret cleaning options out there and i was just left out of the loop?

Wet sanding with 2000 then with an ELECTRIC drill, polish it with the lense cleaner.

and wax should be good for quite a while.

Why electric drill over cordless?

Consistancy with the power.
